Mt. Elgon

The Elgon Mountain Lodge is a quaint national park of wonderful hikes and home to the only cave-dwelling elephants of East Africa in addition to giraffe and other wildlife. Get off the beaten track and climb to the snow-covered peak of Africa's little-visited third highest mountain on the Kenya / Uganda border. The summit is easily reached by those used to hiking and no technical climbing skills are needed.
